In a world where men and women (who are not in the Kingdom) are proud and unashamed to make public their indulgence in dishonorable activities, are you ashamed to publicly uphold that which is right and honorable, as a citizen of the Kingdom? The devil through the world is trying so hard to make that which is shameful become 'unshameful' and that which is 'unshameful' become shameful. In other words, his agenda is to normalize what is shameful and make abnormal what is honorable.
I recently saw a celeb (obviously not a member of the Kingdom) proudly flaunt pictures of his pregnant fiancée on social media and positive comments from people were rolling in in hundreds. It's nothing new, and I do not blame the fellow because in his world, it is normal. But where I have huge disappointment is in that some of the positive comments came from people who identify themselves as citizens of the Kingdom (children of God).
It's really unfortunate that these days people casually claim to be what they do not even understand. Otherwise, how can a bonafide Kingdom Citizen, who understand his identity and what the Kingdom stands for, actually rejoice with such post? When this post is subtly sending the message to the society that there is nothing to be ashamed of in having pre-marital sex and in getting pregnant before marriage, in other words, the society should embrace, accept and normalize it. Hmm!
We all know from the Word of God that this act is an aberration, an abomination and an anomaly in the Kingdom. It is nothing to be proud of in any way, but something to be very ashamed of. Something you should not want to advertise to the world because it practically goes against the morals and values of the Kingdom, hence, dishonorable.
The constitution of the Kingdom does not permit sex before marriage, let alone living together with who you are engaged to and getting pregnant before marriage. The Word of the King is: "But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people." Ephesians 5:3
Since this is the stance of the Kingdom on this issue, why then do some fellows (who claim to be members of the Kingdom) celebrate, tolerate or approve of such practice? Because they want to be more "loving" and tolerant; they don't want to offend people; they don't want to be attacked for speaking the truth and standing for the truth...
How sad! The Word says, "Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret." Ephesians 5:11-12
The Word says we should not participate in the immoral and ungodly practices that sinners engage in, but we should expose these immoral practices rather. It does not say we should tolerate them or show the perpetrators love by participating or applauding them in their wrongdoing. But this is what some children of God are doing today.
Many have become cowards when the King commands us to be bold as a lion. We are in the world where darkness is loved and preferred by many, but no matter the persecution, attack and rejection we face in standing for what is right, we must continue to let our light shine and not dim our light to accomodate darkness of any sort or size.
Let's not easily forget the Word of the King to us in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11: "Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."
If you have been cleansed and made holy and right with God, then stand with God and call into the Kingdom the rest of the people in the world - who are yet to be cleansed from these immoral lifestyles. Call them into the Kingdom. Don't make them comfortable in the world and let them miss the Kingdom by tolerating/celebrating their immoral living or encouraging them to continue in their sin.
The more we make sinners believe that the lifestyle of sin they're living is normal or okay, the harder we make it for them to want to live free from sin. Let's stop making NORMAL what is ABNORMAL in the Kingdom. It is by speaking up that sinners will know that what they tag NORMAL is actually ABNORMAL. You can never stop or change what you tolerate; that is why God does not want us to tolerate evil and sinful lifestyles, but to expose them, in order to stop them.
If we keep quiet, the babies in the Kingdom (new converts) who are not yet seasoned in the Word and who are yet to be grounded in the Kingdom will be easily misled by these unsaved fellows in the world, because remember, we're all living in the same world with these unrepentant sinners. They'll convince them (with their loud sinful lifestyles) to think that it is okay (in our present world) to copulate or cohabit with who you are not married to, or that it is okay to get pregnant and have children without being formally married.
You cannot adopt the principles, ways and culture of the world as a Kingdom Citizen and hope to prosper. If you are in the Kingdom, you must abide by the principles, ways and culture of the Kingdom to prosper.
Do you have the truth? Speak up. Silence is not helping anyone; it is not helping the believers neither is it helping sinners. The real proof that you love someone is that you tell them the truth. You don't prove that you genuinely love someone by accommodating, celebrating, tolerating, approving or encouraging their immoral lifestyle.
Speak the truth from today and don't keep silent. The children, the teenagers, the youth, need to hear the truth. Share the truth of the Kingdom with the world boldly, and stop tolerating and giving your approval to what the Kingdom does not approve.
Be a true citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. Be unashamed in letting the world know who you are, where you are from, what Kingdom you belong to and what the culture, values, morals and principles of your Kingdom are. Live the Kingdom life without shame.
If sinners are living in sin without shame, how much more should you live the Kingdom life without shame, because there is nothing to be ashamed of in righteous and holy living.
