HOW TO LIVE A PRODUCTIVE LIFE IN 2024 ~ Precious Victor Akah

To be productive is to achieve or produce a significant amount or result. You may not have been pleased with the results you had at the end of last year, but this new year is an opportunity to try again and have better, significant results.
Be reminded of the fundamental truth that man is a tripartite being (he is a spirit with a soul and a body). Therefore, for you to be productive in the year 2024, your whole being (spirit, soul and body) must be functionally well, and maximally if possible.

So, how do I live productively in 2024?

YOUR BODY

• Feed your body with healthy meals. Feed your body what will keep it healthy, strong and fresh. Avoid anything that will make your body sick or frail. Your body must be functionally well if you must be productive this year. When a man is sick, he cannot think or do anything else, his mind shuts down and all he is thinking at that moment is how to be well again. And if the sickness is prolonged, of course he will not be able to achieve many goals he had set prior to his sickness. It is someone who is healthy and physically strong that will go in pursuit of their goals for the year.

So, keep your body healthy and physically fit (by exercise), stop eating anything (food, drinks or snacks) that is unhealthy, and stop consuming substances (cocaine, cigarettes, tobacco) you know isn't healthy for your body, so you can be strong to pursue your goals for the year. Because it's just a matter of time and all the unhealthy things you've been feeding your body will start manifesting.

If you're born again and believe in the Holy Communion and possess an understanding of the power embedded in eating the flesh and Blood of Jesus, take the Holy Communion as often as you can to stay healthy. It's a divine meal that keeps any child of God who takes it healthy (when they do so with honor for Christ and an understanding of the power in it).

• Feed your body with healthy things. If you're not married, sex with someone you're not married to is not healthy for your physical body, believe it or not. After a while, you'll realize this truth. And I hope you don't realize it when it's too late.
Yes, your body needs sex as a healthy adult, but the only person who can feed your body this is your legally married spouse - no one else should do it or it'll become an abuse of your body, and every abuse comes with some level of damage. Never forget this. And how feasible is it for you to pursue your goals and be productive with a damaged body?

YOUR SOUL

3 John 1:2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." Your prosperity in the physical is dependent on the prosperity of your soul as well as your spirit. Your soul comprises of your mind, will and emotions.

• Feed your mind. Read, watch or listen to something that fuels your passion and motivates you to go on in pursuit of your purpose - and do this often this year.
If you've discovered your life purpose, look for someone in your field/line of purpose that is doing well and suck up all the knowledge and wisdom you can get from them.
If you're a career person/business person, look for someone in your line of profession/business who is already where you want to be or where you want your business to get to and learn from
them.

• Feed your will with God's will. Align your will with God's will. Let your plans and goals be in alignment with God's will for His children and His specific purpose for your life. Because the only way God will prosper what you do is if it is in line with His will and if it lines up with His peculiar plan for your life. So it's important to make sure before embarking on any venture or mission that it is in alignment with God's will for your life. Never do anything outside God's will or it'll not yield a good result, particularly if you're a child of God.

• Feed your emotions with the truth of God's Word. A lot of persons have lost profitable relationships and friendships because of unmanaged emotions. In an uncontrolled outburst of anger, some have lost business opportunities, job offers, promotions, contracts and good investments. A friendship with the opposite sex meant to elevate the other person's career or give them a financial boost was ended because the one to receive this blessing could not control their emotions and introduced romance or sex.

Let God's Word inform and shape your emotions. Let it help you kill that anger that destroys your friendship with people, and destroy that rude behavior that ruins your relationship with customers, business partners and investors.
Let it destroy that pride and complacency that makes you relax thinking you've arrived, instead of reaching forth to greater things God has for you to accomplish. Destroy every negative emotion with God's Word.

• Set clear, achievable goals. It is good to set goals but better to set achievable goals. You probably set some goals for yourself last year but didn't actualize them, perhaps because they weren't achievable in the time frame you set. So, make sure you give yourself a reasonable amount of time to actualize certain goals you've set to achieve this year. What's more? Make the goals clear enough to be pursued by breaking them down into small achievable bits or writing them down.

• Find something to do. You waited throughout last year for a job and none came, don't wait again this year. Find a profitable skill to learn. Find a legit business to trade. There is Forex, Graphics designing, IT, Website designing, Event planning, Catering, and lots more. Invest yourself in one and be productive. Give no room for laziness this year.

YOUR SPIRIT

Feed your spirit. To stay healthy spiritually and to keep prospering spiritually, listen to at least one message (teaching of God's Word/sermon) daily from a man/woman of God you believe in.
If you're well-fed spiritually, you'll do better in the physical. Moreover, it is a known truth that the spiritual powers the physical. If you're weak spiritually, you will not perform well physically. But if you're well, strong and flourishing spiritually, your physical life will flourish too.
When challenges of life come this year, it is the spiritual strength you have on the inside that will propel you to confront the challenges on the outside and face them off.

So, feed your spirit as much as possible. Be intentional and deliberate about this. Aside your personal daily Bible study, prayer and fasting, ensure you listen to at least one sermon everyday. What you hear constantly you'll do and become. And since the challenges of life do not give warning before coming, you need to be prepared, and feeding your spirit man with the right words - with the truth - is one of the ways to prepare.

• Nothing should take God's place in your life. Not a job, career, business or a relationship. Don't pursue THINGS and neglect GOD. Remember the rule of the Kingdom given in Matthew 6:33: " But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Don't forsake church meetings for business meetings. Don't lose God for a relationship with the opposite sex. Don't compromise on righteousness and holy living for immoral gains or unrighteous profits.

• Commit your plans to God. You've set the goals you want to achieve this year, now commit them to God. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed." TPT version

Put God in charge of your goals and what you've planned will take place. Never think you don't need God to achieve any of the goals you've set, even the smallest one, that's a sure way to end with unrealized goals. Ask God for help. Besides, if you have a good, thriving relationship with God, He planted these goals in your heart, so why do you think you can achieve them without His help? You need grace, and grace is God helping a man.

• Lastly, befriend the Holy Spirit. This is the last but the most important. Friendship with he Holy Spirit will make you highly productive this year. How do I know? The HOLY SPIRIT is God, so there is no difficult situation that will confront you that He cannot have a solution to. There is nothing you want to do or achieve that He'll not empower and enable you to actualize. Friendship with Him will help you avoid costly mistakes, but you must hear Him, listen to Him and obey Him to benefit from this.

When the Holy Spirit gives you an idea for business or for anything, it's uncommon and compels success and admiration. Befriend the Holy Spirit this year. Talk to Him as a friend. Share things with Him as with a friend. Ask Him for help. And most importantly, please Him and do not grieve Him.

Do these things and you'll witness the kind of productiveness you never witnessed last year.

Shalom.
