YOU CAN BE A VICTIM OF ONLINE SCAMMERS IF YOU DON'T LEARN THIS ~ Precious C Philip

As you open this article to read, you are probably expecting to see some technical strategies and tactics to avoid being scammed online, well, I have something much more helpful than that to relate to you in this article. What I'll be sharing can be of direct help to you or you may need to share it with some Christian brothers or sisters that it'll be of great help to. So, let's get right into it.

Lately, we have so many fraudsters online impersonating spiritual leaders: renowned pastors, preachers, evangelists, apostles, prophets, and even Christian music Ministers. You'll find them on different social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram...) asking people to sow monetary seeds in exchange for prophecy, blessings, and prayers.

Their major targets are Christians, and as unbelievable as it may sound, a lot of Christians have fallen victims of these scammers and a lot more are still falling and more will yet fall. Why? These scammers observed that many Christians do not know how to pray for themselves and some will rather have a spiritual leader pray for them than to pray for themselves; many of them are too lazy to pray and have more trust in the efficacy of the prayers of others than in their own prayers - they run after prophecies, miracles, and prayers online.

These fraudsters observed and spotted this loophole and decided to use it to their advantage. And it surprises me that a lot of Christians still fall victims despite the glaring nature of their chicanery. Honestly, if you can pray for yourself and receive answers from God, you'll not be a victim of online fraudsters that impersonate spiritual leaders for illicit financial gains. People fall victims because they cannot pray for themselves, and some are really not wise and knowledgeable too.

So one thing you must learn to do as a child of God is to pray for yourself: you MUST learn how to pray - how to pray and receive answers from God. Because I personally believe that one major reason people solicit for prayers and prophecies is not knowing how to pray - some are lazy to pray because when they pray they do not get answers so they lack the motivation to pray. If this is your own challenge, don't you think it is wise and best to get a permanent solution to it? Rather than soliciting for prayers and looking for miracles and prophecies here and there.

The knowledge you need to overcome that challenge is embedded in a book or an article or a video online. Why not invest time to get this knowledge and avoid these online scammers for life? Because the reason we still have so many of them involved in the criminal act online is for the fact that a lot of Christians are still falling victims.

Therefore, sit down and purchase a book or read articles online or watch videos online that will educate you on how to pray for yourself and receive answers from God. 

The same direct access to God the people you're seeking to pray for you have is the same direct access you have to God in prayer.

We all have equal access to God if you're a member of God's family through being born again by faith in Jesus Christ. You have the same access - direct access- to God that the other sister or brother or pastor or prophet has to God. So, it is important you learn to pray for yourself because you'll some day be confronted with a situation where you'll be all alone and not be able to reach out to anyone to pray for you; what will you do on that day? Let this fuel your desire to learn to talk with God personally and not depend solely on the prayers of others.

Quit running around. Take a sit and build your personal relationship with God. Build your prayer life and learn to commune with God on your own. You need to be able to pray to God and receive answers from Him. I mean, that's one of the sweet benefits children of God enjoy.

Furthermore, I won't fail to mention that a lot of people do not want to grow spiritually and to develop their prayer life - they do not want to pray on their own because they're just too lazy to labour in prayer. They are comfortable having others pray for them; they'll gladly give money and sow seeds in exchange for prayers. But this laziness is very extremely costly. I need you to know that. Also, the people you give money to pray for you or prophesy to you or confess blessings on you are defrauding you and they likely do not have access to God because they're illegitimate ambassadors or representatives of God.

I am also aware that some Christians do not pray because the presence of sin in their lives and the guilt of sin has disqualified them(Psalm 66:18): they do not have the confidence to face God and believe God will not hear their prayers because they're engaging in sinful practices. But even though they know that they're required to let go of sin to fellowship with God unhindered, they are not willing. They enjoy the pleasures of sin and do not want to let go of it in order to have personal fellowship with God.

So, they prefer to hold on to their sinful lifestyle and keep soliciting for prayers and visiting different spiritual houses for prayers. If you're such a person, I must warn you (out of love) that you're not acting wisely, and this is why you'll easily fall prey to false prophets and dabble into 'fetish' things. Repent genuinely and bid farewell to sin like a lot of genuine children of God had done and they're enjoying one-on-one conversation with God.

I leave you with this scripture that warns children of God about false prophets/teachers because if you don't know how to pray for yourself, you'll unfortunately be a constant victim of false prophets and teachers:

"But there were false prophets, too, in those days, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly tell their lies about God, turning against even their Master who bought them; but theirs will be a swift and terrible end. Many will follow their evil teaching that there is nothing wrong with sexual sin. And because of them Christ and his way will be scoffed at.

These teachers in their greed will tell you anything to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago and their destruction is on the way." 2 Peter 2:1-3
