A Beautiful Life is Possible ~ Precious Victor Akah

One day, while teaching my pupils how to write the number 8, I noticed a range of abilities among them. Some students managed to attempt the task, while others struggled completely. To help, I held their hands with the marker and guided them in writing the number 8 on a small whiteboard.

For some children, allowing me to guide their hands resulted in a neatly written number 8, and they beamed with a sense of accomplishment. However, there were others who, despite not knowing how to write the number, insisted on doing it themselves - refusing to allow me help them. Their attempts led to poorly formed 8s, prompting laughter from their peers and leaving them feeling disheartened.

As I observed this, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart, revealing a profound truth: this mirrors the journey of God's children. When we allow God to guide and direct us in life, the outcome is a beautiful life that fulfills His plans and purposes, bringing us a sense of joy and achievement. Conversely, when we resist His guidance, attempting to navigate life on our own because we think we're wiser than God, we often end up with an unpleasant life and regret over our circumstances.

Will you let God help you, or do you believe you know better than Him?

I acknowledge that I don’t possess greater wisdom than God, and I trust that His plans for my life are far better than my own. Therefore, I choose to follow Him, heed the instructions of the Holy Spirit, and obey the commandments found in His Word. This commitment leads me to the beautiful and glorious life He has designed for me.

When a child of God dismisses Scripture, considering it irrelevant or outmoded, and instead embraces worldly views, they inevitably find themselves regretting their choices. Likewise, when a believer thinks they can outsmart God, believing Him to be too slow, and turns to ungodly alternatives or acts contrary to biblical commands and divine guidance, they often realize too late the folly of their decisions.

A beautiful life is indeed possible, but it requires us to let God guide us through every step. His commands, teachings, and instructions in the Bible should not be trivialized; they must be embraced as the very essence of life and truth. Ignore the noise, misguided beliefs, and confusion of the world. Hold fast to what the Bible says, live it, and cherish it deeply.

Disregard those who claim there is no God or that seeking Him is foolishness; one day, their folly will be evident to them.

In the TPT version of the Bible, Proverbs 3:5-6 states:
"Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions.
With all your heart, rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make.
Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and He will lead you wherever you go."

Finally, Proverbs 16:3 (NLT) reminds us:
"Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed."
Without God and His guidance, success is not guaranteed; failure is rather certain, resulting in an unfulfilled life.

Seek God and value His help, guidance, and direction to experience a beautiful life, even amidst global economic downturn and political unrest.

Shalom.
